His design practice involves typographic and graphic design for print media, and in particular, for museum catalogs and publications. Meanwhile as a ceramicist, he explores themes of permanence, light, and space using thrown and slip-cast vessels.
Inspired by the personal and mundane aspects of his daily life, David seeks to use both these sides of his practice as a means of inspiring others to become more aware of, and thus engaged, with their surrounding environments.
