Porcelain Stacking Lamp

This light fixture features modular diffusers/shades that take the form of wares. The arrangement of the wares in each fixture may be adjusted in different orders - and sometimes orientations - to the user’s liking.

This design was inspired by my desire for the ability to modulate the behavior of light from a fixture, in addition to my fascination with the unexpectedly harmonious relationships that exist between the forms of disparate household wares.

My intentions are to give more users the ability to play with the diffusion of light in their spaces, in addition to engendering within them an appreciation for the aesthetics that exist within the mundane.
Hand-polished porcelain, cherry wood, E22 LED bulb, wired electrical socket.
